confidence is not something you are born with...
...its something you learn

Our parties were initially developed to aid female youth groups discuss self esteem issues. With 7 years of experience in fashion and social photography we saw a direct link between confidence and a successful photo shoot. So our aim was to inspire confidence in our clients by explaining and demonstrating poses and creating a relaxed and encouraging environment. We believe women, especially girls in their teenage years need good role models and lots of positive words said about them. The vision of the photo sessions is not only to have a fun experience and high quality pictures to take home, but to inspire young women to be an encouragement to one another and to celebrate each others uniqueness!

We now have two established strands to our vision;
‘Photo Parties’ and ‘Beauty Redefined’.

Firstly, ‘Photo Parties’ is aimed at the general public and allows girls to celebrate birthdays and special occasions in a safe and fun studio. Girls can live out their fantasies of being a model or dressing like a princess for the day, and is a great excuse to get dressed up!

Secondly, ‘Beauty Re-defined’ is a photo shoot and seminar directed at Christian and secular young peoples groups and educational departments. The seminars have been a massive success and we have found it to be a great way of communicating self esteem ideas with teenagers. We make sure the quality of the photographs really does reflect the beauty of each girl and that she is listened to throughout the session.

We know how impacted both Suzanne and I were in our teens, through observing older girls who reflected good ways to live and work. Above all the photography shoot just creates an excuse for girls to get together and discuss their thoughts and ambitions with older girls who are further on in finding their purpose, direction and confidence.
